C.A.T.C.H., this year, sits on the campus of one of Los Angeles Unified School District’s most historic middle schools: Audubon. This facility arrangement, known simply as a “co-location,” is helping to set a new standard in American secondary education.
In moving to Audubon, and serving as a role model to the younger children who attend the middle school every day, C.A.T.C.H. welcomes the responsibility of setting examples in both academics and behavior day in and day out. The concept of a co-location has everything to do with unity. And for middle school students to unite in the mission and vision of C.A.T.C.H. (for all students to succeed through a practical application of the arts) is a powerful way to go about bringing young people together.
